Ingredients :
- 1 cup unsalted butter /pure ghee
- 500 gms boneless mutton/chicken
- 1 tbl spn ginger garlic paste
- 3 green chillies
- spice powder
- 250 gms pulses mix [1/2 cup broken wheat,1/2 cup chana dal,2 tblsp oats,1/4 cup of mixed daal like toor,moong and urad dal,]. {soaked atleast 2 hours before]
- 1 tsp lime juice
- coriander leaves
- salt
Recipe
1.In a cooker or a heavy bottom pan put 1 cup butter...put 2 nos each of cinnamon,cardomom,cloves...let splutter and add 500 gms boneless mutton/chicken/beef and saute for a while on medium flame
2.Now add1 tblsp ginger garlic paste,3 chopped green chillies,add spice powder[1 sp each of red chilli pdr,turmeric,garam masala pdr,coriander pdr,jeera pdr]…salt to taste and mix all well.
3.Then add soaked pulses
4.Now add 1 lemon juice,1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves,2 glass water,2 tblsp rose water[optional]..close lid and cook on low flame for about 20 mins.[use pressure cooker]
5.The ingredients need to be cooked very well…mash into a smooth consistency with help of some kitchen tool or masher.

in a pan heat 2 tbspn butter ,1 chopped green chilli,dash of chopped ginger and pour over the haleem as dressing
