Shahi fish curry

Ingredients


  • boneless fish cut into cubes 250 gms
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic pst
  • 3 slices of coconut,1/2 cup cashew nuts and 2 green chillies ground to paste
  • whole garam masala[2 cardamom,2 cloves,1 small piece of cinnamon]
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tsp chopped coriander and mint leaves
  • oil
  • salt to taste
 Method:

1.marinade fish with a pinch of salt ,pepper and few drops of lime for 10 to 15 mins
2.In a pan add 2 tbl spn oil add whole garam masala and let splutter
3.Add onion and saute till slightly golden,add ginger garlic paste ,add tomatoes and cook closing the lid for 3 mins till tomatoes are soft
4.Add turmeric and salt and then add the coconut paste and 1 cup water and bring to boil
5.Add fish pieces slowly and cook for 2 mins on low flame
6.sprinkle chopped coriander and mint leaves.
serve with steamed rice .......
