Upma

 
upma.....a traditional south indian breakfast...
aromatic...simply mouth watering

Recipe
1.in a pan Roast 250 rava [semolina] on medium flame ,till slightly changes its colour to golden..remove..keep aside
2.in the same pan add 1 tsp oil....add few cashew nuts..remove when turns golden .remove..keep aside
3.in the same pan add 2 tbl spn oil...add...few mustardseeds...few curry leaves...a pinch of asetofotida...
1 cup chopped onions...3 green chillies...saute till onion slightly changes colour...
4.add 4 cups of water,2 tsp oil,1 tsp ginger garlic paste,few chopped coriander leaves salt to taste and 
  let boil for 10 mins.
5.lastly add roasted rava and mix well...water will absorb very quickly..reduce flame...add cashewnuts
6.yummy upma is ready............
